Works correctly. Needs 2 AAA batteries.
Comes with a BLUE protective film. Peel it off before complaining it is a different color.

This is a quality and compact scale. I use it to weigh boxes before I ship them in the mail.

They sent me the 5kg/1g version instead of the .1g one so I was given a refund.
The scale is beautiful, numbers are very easy to read, buttons work well.
It’s very good for discrete weighing – turn it on, weigh something, it will be relatively accurate and consistent. I have a 1000g calibration set and it weighs them all individually accurately. The total weight of 1kg is consistent, but 1g high.
If you want to use it like I do for weighing things as you add to a recipe, it’s not so good. The tare weight tends to drift downward, so that you will end up putting more in than planned. For example, I ended up with 40 more grams in a 1200g batch of 4 items because of this before I realized what it is doing.
If you want a truly accurate scale you will need to buy one certified for trade, but they cost a lot more money. Either way, it’s always good to have calibration weights if you care about the accuracy of your scales.
